APIS Software srl Founded in 1997, Apis Software srl develops company management software, with customising and integrating applications according to its clients’ needs. Software includes innovative solutions for:
  1. tracing and traceability of: food products, ingredients and allergens, within the manufacturer-consumer chain;

  2. management of weighting system data installed:
    • in points of sale (i.e. supermarket and megastore chains within the Large-Scale Retail Trade (LSRT) and Organised Trade (OLSRT) sectors, as well as traditional retailers)
    • in the industry sector

  3. the multimedia management of audio-video contents by developing applications for the storing, transmission and the remote display of images, films, sound, etc. through advanced indexing systems, DVD technology and interface development.

Apis Sofware applications have already been installed in more than 690 points of sale in Italy for the following brands: Esselunga, Unes, Coop Consumatori Nordest, Conad, A&O, Mida 3, Cedi Sisa Campania, Panorama Ipermercati (Gruppo PAM), PAM, LD Discount (Gruppo Lombardini), Pellicano (Gruppo Lombardini), Comprabene / Spendibene (Gruppo Lombardini), Consorzio Coalvi.

Apis Software has been developing software applications for years, on behalf of the most important weighting system manufacturers: Bizerba, Mettler Toledo, Omega MWCR, Zenith CiZetaBi, Italiana Macchi, Avery Berkel, ect.

In March 2006, Apis Software participated as partner to the establishment of Describo srl, a company created with the encouragement of Coldiretti of Milan and Lodi, with the aim of developing tracing and traceability innovative solutions for zootechnic and farming food products, mainly by using radiofrequency technologies (RFID).
